Need help: where to write, and about what
Need help with an order, a parcel or a refund: write to Hipobuy, not to us. Hipobuy’s Contact Us page gives [email protected] for customer service and [email protected] for business cooperation only. Online chat opens on hipobuy.com after you log in. Hipobuy does not publish customer-service hours; the hours it does publish are for purchasing, 09:00 to 18:00 China time.
Write to us at [email protected] if something on this map is wrong or out of date: include the page, the notice number and what you saw. We cannot see or act on Hipobuy accounts. If something goes wrong with an order, keep the notice numbers of the documents you agreed to and the date; they are your record of which text applied.
Glossary of contract words
A glossary of the contract words that recur on this map, plus three pieces of buyer slang that are not in Hipobuy’s documents but turn up in every conversation about them.
- Governing law
- The legal system a document says applies to it. Hipobuy's documents name Hong Kong SAR law, the laws of China or PRC law.
- Jurisdiction, forum
- Where a dispute goes: a named court, or an arbitration body. Four Hipobuy documents name four.
- Arbitration
- A private tribunal instead of a court. The parcel agreement names the Hangzhou International Arbitration Court.
- Deemed acceptance
- Agreement inferred from what you do, such as continuing to use the site after an update.
- Joint operators
- Several companies acting together as Hipobuy, as the footer and the Service Terms describe it.
- Force majeure
- Events no party controls, such as strikes, disasters or system failures, used to excuse performance.
- Warehoused
- The order status from which free storage and the five-day return window are counted.
- QC
- Quality check: the warehouse photographs your goods and checks them against your order.
- GL, RL
- Buyer slang: a green light approves the QC photos; a red light rejects the item so it can go back to the seller.

Do I sign anything on paper with Hipobuy?
No. Every agreement is made on screen: the register checkbox, the agree line on the order page and the note above Submit Parcel. Some documents also count continued use, a risky order or a search as agreement.
Is the box on the order page ticked for me?
In the web screenshot in Hipobuy's own beginner guide, uploaded in August 2025, the agree line is already ticked while Submit is waiting. We cannot see the live page without an account, so check it on your own screen.
Which law applies to my Hipobuy order?
We do not answer that. The Service Terms behind the order page name Hong Kong SAR law; the Registration Agreement names Chinese law and a Yuhang court; the parcel agreement names Hangzhou arbitration. Which applies to a real dispute is a legal question for an adviser where you live.
Can Hipobuy change its terms without telling me?
The Service Terms say a new version replaces the old one without further notice and continued use counts as acceptance. The Registration Agreement promises notices for major changes and no cut to your rights without explicit consent.
Does Hipobuy check whether items are authentic?
No. Its Search Terms say it does not judge whether products are genuine, and section 8 of the Service Terms makes checking authenticity the buyer's responsibility while prohibiting inauthentic goods.
What happens if I open a PayPal or card dispute?
Hipobuy's help article on account locks says a chargeback locks the account automatically, and purchases, shipping and refunds are put on hold until the chargeback is cancelled and Hipobuy is told.
Where do I find a document if the link is missing?
Use the notice numbers on this site: every Hipobuy document lives at hipobuy.com/notice/ followed by its number, for example 1743203214533169153 for the Service Terms.
The forums and chat groups Hipobuy points to
Hipobuy’s site settings list its own community channels: a Reddit community, r/Hipobuy_, a Discord server linked from its banners, and WhatsApp and WeChat contacts shown as QR codes. These are Hipobuy’s channels, moderated by Hipobuy, so treat answers there as Hipobuy’s side of the story.
We do not print member counts, ratings or claims about what buyers say; numbers like that move daily and prove little. Discord invites in particular change often, so open the server from Hipobuy’s own banner rather than from an old link. The documents on this map, not a forum thread, are what you agreed to.
How this map is kept current
A map of terms is only useful while it matches the terms. We re-read every document we quote through Hipobuy’s help-centre interface and compare it word for word with the last copy, re-check which document is tagged to which page, and test every outbound link; dead links are removed rather than left in place. Each change goes into the change log with a date.
That is also why this Spreadsheet exists in this form: a list of picks is easy to find elsewhere, but a list that tells you what you agree to when you buy one, and when that was last checked, is not.
